Bathroom Wall Alcoves
Bathroom wall alcoves: when you plan a bathroom renovation make a list of features you currently have in your bathroom. Once you have done that ask a few questions. How well does your bathroom fit your needs? Look around your bathroom, is there something you are looking at you don’t like? Is your bathroom cluttered? Do you have enough storage space for all your items?
Part of the reason designer bathrooms look so good is because there is nothing lying around. You may possibly be upset with your bathroom because you have nowhere to put anything. If this is the case make sure you have enough hidden cabinets to put all your things in.
Put things into the wall rather than on the wall. This way even if you have a small bathroom it will look or have the feeling of more space. You need to speak to your renovator to see where you can locate things when inserting cabinets into the wall.
Alcoves are great to store shampoos, conditioners and body wash. When I was having my bathroom renovated I was away and my bathroom renovator forgot to put in some alcoves in my shower now I have glass shelves which stick into the shower they intrude into the room. Alcoves give a more tidy and subtle look.
If you are going to be away when you are having your bathroom renovated write things on a list and stick it on the wall or just outside the bathroom on the wall so the renovator can keep checking what it is you wanted that is a bit out of the ordinary or if it is something that could get forgotten.
